FAQ
Here are some of the questions that we often get asked:
How Do I Book Lessons?
Easiest way to do this is to submit the form here.
Which Schools Do You Work With and Which Instruments do You Teach?
You can have a look here to see which schools we work with and instruments we currently teach.
When Do Lessons Take Place? Are they After School?
In term time, during school hours.
How Many Lessons are There?
33 Lessons over a full academic year. This can be 30 in private Prep Schools
How Do Payments Work?
Payments are made monthly. This is the cost of the 33 lessons split over all 12 months of the year to make budgeting easy for parents.
Why did a Payment come out over a School Holiday?
Payments are made monthly. This is the cost of the 33 lessons split over all 12 months of the year to make budgeting easy for parents.
Why am I billed if my Child Missed a Lesson?
If the required notice was not given, please see the policy page, then the lesson slot is billable. This is because there is no chance for us to offer it to anyone else or to rearrange lessons.
How Do Grades ExamsWork?
Grades are usually done via Digital Submission. This means we can record the exam in a normal lesson, and you then just pay the exam board's fee when we submit it.
We can usually do this for you, but sometimes it isn't possible, in which case you can record the exam yourself at home (see an example guide here), or we can help you book a face-to-face exam.
Cancelling Lessons / Payment:
If you wish to stop lessons, there is a term's notice period, which you agree to when you start lessons. We will then work out how many lessons you have had, how many payments you have made and invoice for the amount you owe. This will be automatically paid by you via GoCardless.

You are also responsible for cancelling your Direct Debit. Just as you set it up - we only provide the link - you must stop it. If you don't, this is your responsibility and we do not issue refunds.

While we do try to cancel payments where we can, it is ultimately your debit and your responsibility - Please see our Policies and Terms
